W1ET IRLP - Dartmouth Amateur Radio Association

- GOAL - To combine HAM radio and the Internet and attract new
HAM's from the Dartmouth community.
- BACKGROUND - The Dartmouth W1ET node connects to the internet
via a high speed T1 connection at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. It
is linked to the 145.130 MHz N1CIV repeater (-600 kHz, 88.5 PL) in
Norwich, VT. The repeater is commercial ICOM equipment with an
autopatch broadcasting 100 Watts ERP, 1800 ft above sea level, located
close to Gile Hill. This IRLP is OPEN to general amateur use.
- GROUP - A diverse group of HAM's at Dartmouth (professors,
staff, and students) setup this node.
