Tour of Thayer School

Meet at Reception desk, MacLean ESC
Guided by engineering students, tour Thayer’s project and research labs, visit the wall of patents, and say hello to students and professors along the way. Children welcome.

2:30 – 3:15pm
Dartmouth Society of Engineers (DSE) Annual Meeting

Rett’s Room (201), MacLean ESC
Meet with the DSE Executive Committee and share your ideas for alumni programs and more. Open to all alumni.

3:30 – 4:30pm
Touching Lives: Thayer's Impact on the World

Spanos Auditorium, Cummings Hall
Join us for this candid panel discussion and hear real-world stories of innovation that highlight how a Thayer experience can contribute to improving the quality of life in the US and developing countries.

Get back into the Shop and take part in a hands-on engineering activity while you craft a special commemorative 150th Anniversary souvenir. Assistance provided by engineering students and lab instructors. Children 12 and older welcome.

Join Thayer Overseer Sam Truex ’92 Th’93 Tu’95 and fellow alumnae for a networking reception. All welcome.

Celebrating 150 Years of Dartmouth Engineering: Anniversary Gala Evening

Remarks by Dartmouth President Philip J. Hanlon ’77 followed by the keynote address by Dr. Mae Jemison HON’06, Former NASA astronaut and first woman of color to travel to space.
Semiformal attire. Adults only. See below for children’s program.

Dine with students as you take a trip back to “FO-CO” or the food court—formerly known as Thayer Dining Hall. The all-you-can-eat breakfast won’t disappoint!

Alumni and Friends Hike: Gile Mountain

Meet in front of Robinson Hall
Enjoy this family-friendly (1.4 miles/approx. 1 hour) hike up Gile Mountain. Hike will be led by Thayer School student DOC trip leaders. Transportation provided. Registration required.
